The Facts About Architecture Careers
An Architecture degree takes five years to complete. The degree will need to be accredited by the National Architectural Accrediting Board (NAAB). Everyone interested in an architecture career must be licensed by not only completing a degree but passing the Architect Registration Examination. Competition is fierce for jobs in architecture in highly prestigious firms. Artistic ability is not essential however, it will be helpful to get into the field. Computer skills are also required for architectural based writing programs.
How Much Money Can I Make As An Architect?
According to the U.S. Department of Labor, in 2008 the median annual salary for Architects was $70,320. The salary range for these positions was between $41,320 and $119,220.
