An Architecture degree takes five years to complete. The degree will need to be accredited by the National Architectural Accrediting Board (NAAB). Everyone interested in an architecture career must be licensed by not only completing a degree but passing the Architect Registration Examination. Competition is fierce for jobs in architecture in highly prestigious firms. Artistic ability is not essential however, it will be helpful to get into the field.
